According to research, mothers of children with ASD have stress levels similar to combat soldiers. This isn’t that much of a surprise as autism mom stress levels tend to be high, when calculating in the rest of life and its own worries, speaking from experience. Throughout the years, I’ve had clients tell me “I’m stressed out because of my child”, “what are some tips for autism parents to handle stress”, and a number of other related questions. So in today’s video I’m giving some advice for autism parents in regards to how to reduce stress dealing with autism. Note that these are just some general tips for parents of children with autism, and I still believe learning all about Applied Behavior Analysis is the best solution and thing you can do for yourself and your child to reduce stress, reduce problem behaviors, and increase language.
